During a project, clients may have questions, notice details they would like adjusted, or request small improvements once they see the work progressing.

Where a request can reasonably be completed without significant additional materials, labour, delays or changes to the agreed scope, we will always try to assist where possible.

We value long-term relationships with our clients and understand that sometimes small details make a big difference to the final result.

Clear Communication About Changes

If a requested change affects the original quotation, including materials, design, labour, timeframes or installation requirements, we will explain this clearly before proceeding.

Our clients will always have the opportunity to understand:

• What changes are being requested
• How those changes affect the project
• Any additional costs involved
• Any impact on the expected completion timeframe

No significant additional work will be undertaken without discussion and agreement.

Project Variations

A variation may be required when a client requests work that is outside the original agreed scope.

Examples may include:

• Increasing the length or height of fencing
• Changing the selected fencing style or materials
• Adding additional gates, screens or structures
• Changing the design after fabrication or installation has commenced
• Additional demolition or removal works
• Additional site preparation or unexpected requirements

Where a variation is required, Best Fence will communicate the details clearly and agree on the next steps before proceeding.

Unexpected Site Conditions

Some conditions cannot always be identified before work begins.

During demolition, excavation or installation, we may discover issues such as hidden concrete, difficult ground conditions, damaged existing structures or other site limitations.

If these conditions affect the agreed works, we will discuss the situation with the client and explain the available options before continuing.

Our aim is always to find the most practical and cost-effective solution.

Quality of Work and Rectification

Best Fence takes pride in delivering quality workmanship.

If a concern relates to the agreed scope of works or the quality of our installation, we will review the matter and work with the client to find an appropriate solution.

A request for additional improvements or changes to the original design is different from addressing workmanship issues.

Our commitment to customer service does not limit any rights available to clients under Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation.

Resolving Concerns

We believe most issues can be resolved through open communication and a practical approach.

If a client has a concern, we encourage them to contact us as soon as possible so we can understand the situation and work towards a fair resolution.
